Qualification
Basic Vocational Qualification in Administrative Services. (Code- ADG01B)
Who for
CFGBs are part of basic education, along with the stages of Primary Education and Compulsory Secondary Education. Furthermore, they are part of the Vocational Training of the educational system, along with the Intermediate Level Vocational Cycles, the Advanced Vocational Training Modules
and Specialisation Courses.
CFGB teaching is split into three areas:
- Communication and Social Sciences Field. It includes Spanish Language, Social Sciences and Foreign Language (English).
- Applied Sciences Field. Includes Applied Mathematics and Applied Science.
- Professional Field. It includes modules associated with competences that are part of the National Catalogue of Professional Qualifications.
After successfully completing all areas of a CFGB, students will be awarded the Complusory Education Certificate and the Basic Technical Diploma in the corresponding vocational speciality. (Basic Vocational Qualification in Administrative Services)
Duration
2,000 horas, equivalent to two academic years.
General skills
The general competence acquired through the qualification entails performing basic administrative and management work, with autonomy, responsibility and showing initiative, performed to the standard required, complying with the occupational environmental and health and safety regulations in force and communicating orally and in writing in Spanish and, where appropriate, in the co-official language as well as in a foreign language.

Access
To enrol in a Basic Vocational Training diploma, the student must fulfil the following requirements:
- Be at least 15 years old or turn 15 during the current calendar year.
- To have completed the 3rd year of ESO (Obligatory Secondary Education). By way of exception, access may be granted after completing the 2nd year of ESO.
- The teachers have suggested that the parents or legal guardians enrol the student in a basic level vocational training diploma.

- APPLIED SCIENCE II – 6 hours/week
- COMMUNICATION AND SOCIETY II – 7 hours/week
- TUTORIAL 1 hour/ week
- WORK EXPERIENCE 260 hours
