What is Leisure and Sports?

The Inclusive Leisure and Sports Service of Fundación Personas is a specific resource guided by principles of normalization and social inclusion, which develops a continuous program of activities.

This service includes, on an ongoing basis throughout the year , various activities: gangs, visits to museums, cinemas and concerts, participation in community events, trips, open days, etc. Easy reading, adult education are also included in this Leisure and Sports Service.

For whom?

All people served by Fundación Personas can take part in this program of activities. The fee will be increased by 100% for non-members.

Services

Vacation program

Different shifts in the summer months and / or season with outings to coastal and inland areas, with support from caregivers and volunteers, whatever the level of support required by the person with intellectual disabilities. Voluntary participation until all shifts are filled.

Adapted sports

It aims to offer people with intellectual disabilities different sports alternatives to choose freely and the necessary support for a practice as normalized as possible.

It consists of two programs: one for competition, aimed at participating in events and competitions of various kinds; and another for physical-recreational activities or training aimed at education, training and fun.

Provincial, regional, national and international tournaments in collaboration with Plena Inclusion CyL and Special Olympics.
