Fundación Personas shares its best practices in the prevention of sexual and gender-based harassment

Fundación Personas, under the representation of Nuria Sastre, our HR Director, has been present at the Conference on prevention and action against sexual harassment and harassment based on sex in the company organized by Regional Ministry of Family and Equal Opportunities from Junta de Castilla y León through the General Directorate for Women, in cooperation with EXECyL Foundation. The session, which took place on December 19 in an online format, included in its agenda the success stories of three organizations from Castilla y León to share best practices in sexual harassment and prevention.

Nuria Sastre, HR Director of the Fundación Personas group of companies ( Fundación Personas, LINCE Group, Apadefim 2000 y Virgen de Llano Foundation) was the spokesperson in this space in which she told how is the management of the prevention of sexual harassment and harassment based on sex in the companies that make up the group, recalling the present protocol under which there is a commitment to act with all diligence to prevent, avoid, resolve and punish cases of sexual harassment and / or gender in the workplace as an essential requirement to ensure the dignity, integrity and equal treatment and opportunities throughout the workforce.

This protocol is designed to prevent this type of behavior and to establish a procedure to be followed in the event that such behavior occurs within the organization.

Fundación Personas was created in 2008 by five associations in Castilla y León: ADECAS Guardo, ASPANIS Palencia, APADEFIM Segovia, ASPRONA Valladolid and ASPROSUB Zamora. In the educational-care area, we manage 5,300 places daily in 75 centers, distributed in more than 30 locations in Valladolid, Palencia, Segovia and Zamora. In the labor area, Fundación Personas has 3 Special Employment Centers (CEE) Lince Group S.L.U., APADEFIM 2000 S.L.U.. and CEE Fundación Personas – with a workforce of 939 employees, more than 90% of whom have some type of disability.
