The member entities of Fundación Personas meet together with Plena Inclusion Castilla y León to symbolize their commitment to Ukraine and people with intellectual disabilities.

This event is the final touch to the agreement that sealed the solidarity walks of Adecas-Guardo, Aspanis-Palencia, Apadefim-Segovia, Asprona-Valladolid and Aprosub-Zamora along their historical appointments of 2022.

At such special times as those experienced at the beginning of the year, the Marches, in addition to having the objective of providing equipment to centers and services, decided to collaborate with the Ukrainian people by allocating part of their total collection to support people with disabilities in the country. All this, in coordination with Inclusion EUROPE.

Yesterday, the Envite building in Valladolid, headquarters of Fundación Personas, hosted this act of recognition that gives a good account of what is behind each walk: In this case, more than 8,500 walkers who have participated in person or in solidarity with their contributions to these non-competitive sports activities in Castilla y León.

Carmen Laucerica, president of Plena Inclusion Spainwanted to send an affectionate message through a video where she thanked the contribution of all the walkers and participants of the Marches of Fundación Personas through sporting activity, to support people with intellectual disabilities in Ukraine.

This year, all the walks have shared the extraordinary emotion of meeting and feeling an important part of society, together with people with different abilities, without exclusion. Participating in the solidarity walks of Adecas-Guardo, Aspanis-Palencia, Apadefim-Segovia, Asprona-Valladolid and Aprosub-Zamora is not only collaborating for a better world, but also being part of historical, solidary, healthy and environmentally friendly events.
