The Valladolid-based Malena Engineering and its new company specialized in sustainable mobility have shown a revolutionary urban concept car, ecological and inclusive, designed for both individuals and companies, from car-sharing to last-mile transport.

Ángeles García, President of Fundación Personas and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Grupo Lince, said: “We are very proud that The e-Miles Company has chosen us to present its vehicle in our bioclimatic building which, by the way, still has a lot of space to occupy. Who knows if we may be able to produce parts for this vehicle here in the future. One of the most important branches of our business is the automotive industry. Our task is to find people with disabilities an occupation that they can live in and be proud of.

Pedro Marqués, Operations Manager of The e-Miles Company, concluded that “the company has presented its proposal to improve the quality of life in cities linked to mobility. We are now working intensively on the industrialization of the project with the support of public institutions and private investors. We hope to move forward soon in this process to move from the concept-car phase to the final product”.

Susana García, General Director of the Institute for Business Competitiveness (ICE), commented that “in terms of technological effort, we are the fifth community in the national ranking, which is measured on the basis of data on investment in R&D as a percentage of GDP. We have to be very proud of the talent and the people we have working in the community and of the fact that projects like The e-Miles can be presented from Castilla y León”.

In short, The e-Miles Company has created a revolutionary electric model that will inaugurate a new concept of urban mobility and help solve major problems in cities, such as parking, pollution, mobility for the disabled and last-mile delivery.
