An event recently took place that brought together various ambassadors of the Army Brand: representatives from the world of culture, politics, sports, universities, business and journalism, among other fields, who collaborate in spreading the positive image of the Army as a link with society. This is an initiative promoted in 2020 by the former Army Chief of Staff (JEME), General Francisco J. Varela.
The list of ambassadors includes, among others, the former minister Fátima Báñez, the former national team coach Vicente del Bosque, the director of La Razón Francisco Marhuenda, the painter Augusto Ferrer, the Olympic champion Lidia Valentino or the journalist Ángel Expósito, in addition to Maximino Viloria, president of APADEFIM, secretary of Fundación Personas and senior officer in the reserve.
