A mixed training and employment program prepares ten unemployed people to work in the dependency sector.

Training, access to employment in the dependency sector and improving the quality of life of people with disabilities are the objectives of the new mixed training and employment program launched by Fundación Personas Zamora at its headquarters in Morales del Vino.
This training plan is aimed at unemployed people who are looking for a job opportunity in the third sector as caregivers in social institutions. For six months, the ten participants will receive theoretical and practical training, combining learning with professional experience through an alternating training contract.
A firm step towards employment in the health and social care sector
Upon completion of the program, participants will obtain the certificate of professionalism in Social and Health Care for Dependent Persons in Social Institutions, as well as the necessary qualification to perform their work in care centers for people with disabilities or in a situation of dependency.
This project, financed with funds from the Servicio Público de Empleo Estata l (SEPE), has as its main objective to improve the employability of people registered with the Public Employment Service of Castilla y León, providing them with the necessary skills for their labor market insertion in an area with a high demand for qualified professionals.
Fundación Personas Zamora stresses the importance of initiatives such as this one to strengthen the social and healthcare sector with trained and committed professionals, while creating real employment opportunities for people actively seeking work.

About Fundación Personas
Fundación Personas was created in 2008 by five associations in Castilla y León: ADECAS Guardo, ASPANIS Palencia, APADEFIM Segovia, ASPRONA Valladolid and ASPROSUB Zamora. Our mission is to improve the quality of life of people with intellectual disabilities and their families.
