Fundación Personas against gender violence

Capture4

One more year, from FUNDACIÓN PERSONAS, GRUPO LINCE, APADEFIM 2000 and FUNDACION VIRGEN DE LLANO we join the celebration on November 25th of the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women, one of the most widespread and persistent human rights violations in the world today, and the main obstacle to achieve equality.

We express our firm rejection of gender violence and affirm our commitment to promote a SAFE WORK ENVIRONMENT RESPECTFUL of the dignity, individual freedom and fundamental rights of all the people who make up our organization, especially the most vulnerable, people with disabilities.

Sexual harassment and harassment on the basis of sex

Sexual harassment, in the form of unwanted verbal, non-verbal or physical behavior of a sexual nature, and gender-based harassment in the workplace are also forms of gender-based violence. Sexual or gender-based harassment behaviors, attitudes or situations are not permitted or tolerated in our organization.

We remind you that you have at your disposal the Protocol of action against sexual harassment and harassment based on sex to which you can resort in case you feel you are victims of any situation of harassment.

We all have a responsibility to help ensure a work environment in which violence against women is unacceptable.

You can address your doubts, suggestions or complaints through the Works Council, the offices of your center or to the Equality Commission in the mailboxes:

Grupo Lince has been recognized since 2009 with the Óptima distinction for gender equality in the workplace.

As you know, Fundación Personas is a member of Plena Inclusion Castilla y León, the federation of associations and foundations of families of people with intellectual disabilities in the region that works for the rights and social inclusion of people.

On the occasion of the 25N, Plena Inclusion has launched the campaign #VoyTapadaNoCallada, an online action against gender violence. The action consists of sharing messages on social networks claiming the elimination of violence against women. It can be photos or videos with short messages on your masks. There is also the option of using a virtual mask thanks to the filter for Facebook and Instagram created by Plena Inclusion.

We encourage all of you to participate in the virtual demonstration against male violence. Connect live: November 25th. from 1:00 pm to 1:30 pm.
