ASPRONA Valladolid
ASPRONA VALLADOLID is a public utility association created in 1962 by mothers and fathers of people with intellectual disabilities. It is a non-profit organization based in Valladolid and has 854 members. ASPRONA is also a founding member of the family movement Plena Inclusion Castilla y León with which it shares values and principles of action.
In 2008 ASPRONA formed Fundación Personas together with other similar associations in the region (ADECAS Guardo, ASPANIS Palencia, APADEFIM Segovia and ASPROSUB Zamora) and in 2010, from the foundation, we manage the services, while the association focuses on advocacy and support to families and associates.
ASPRONA’s mission is to improve the quality of life of people with intellectual disabilities and their families, which we do (according to our Bylaws) through and in collaboration with Fundación Personas.
