CREATIVE SOCIAL PARTICIPATION WITH CHRISTMAS TREES AND 3D ORNAMENTS FOR ZAMORA BUSINESSES

3

Daniel Calles, from Viveros y Jardines Fundación Personas Zamora. Diana Falcón, Coordinator of the Occupational Center and Rubén Bobo, Professor of new technologies at Fundación Personas Zamora, have participated in the fortnightly talk show in the section “Extraordinary People” with Cristina Camell.

Fundación Personas Zamora collaborates with AZECO (Zamora association of trade entrepreneurs) in the design, production and distribution of 225 trees for Christmas shop windows of its associated stores in the capital of Zamora and the town of Toro.

The performance of this task also represents an employment opportunity, as specific jobs have been created for people with intellectual disabilities.

Throughout the month of November the users of the center work intensively in carpentry workshops, 3D printing, nursery and graphic arts to create these trees by hand, coupled with design, printing techniques of last generation made collaboratively between different environments of the Center.

The elaboration of snowflakes or stars in its 3D printer, the assembly of wooden pieces made with care and adapted to each of the trees, give that special and unique touch that the Association of entrepreneurs of Zamora has been commissioning for 3 years, and is a creative success, admired by the citizens who enjoy it as they pass by.

And with the added value of being made by people with different abilities, which means giving visibility to their effort, their involvement down to the last detail and collective enthusiasm.

Daniel closed his speech saying that “to work you have to have fun” An extraordinary motto for our day to day and the best farewell of the year to our collaboration in RTVCYL.
