The Oscyl Ribera Quartet chose the exterior of the Centro de Día El Pino – Fundación Personas for the preview of “La forja de un estilo”, the concert suspended in March by COVID and presented tonight at the National Museum of Sculpture in Valladolid.

At 10:30 a.m. sharp and with a temperature of 17 degrees, the gardens of the El Pino Center were filled with wind.

Only a few were the privileged few who yesterday were able to listen, exclusively, to the premiere that the Cuarteto Ribera gave as a gift to several people with #discapacidadIntelectual.

The group wanted the first stop of its next concert, “La forja de un estilo” (The Forge of a Style) to be at the Day Center that Fundación Personas has in Valladolid.

In commemoration of the 250th anniversary of Beethoven’s birth, the Ribera Quartet, formed by Elizabeth Moore, Iván García, Jokin Urtasun and Jordi Creus, opens tonight the series of classical music concerts in the courtyard of the Colegio de San Gregorio in Valladolid, the main venue of the National Sculpture Museum.

“The Forging of a Style. Works by Bocherini, Haydn and Beethoven, it reviews the immediate antecedents of the string quartet and the collection of the bases of this musical genre by the great genius of Bonn.
