The president of Apadefim and secretary of Fundación Personas, thus joins the group of people in charge of strengthening the image of the Army and the Armed Forces.
Maximinio Viloria Castro is since yesterday the new ambassador of the “Army Brand” Segovia 2020. The President of APADEFIM received his credentials and the certificate of his appointment from the hands of the military commander and director of the Artillery Academy, Colonel Alejandro Serrano, in a ceremony held in the Assembly Hall of the Artillery Academy of Segovia.
Last year the Army launched a project to improve the perception, understanding and knowledge of the institution in the Spanish society, which has been called “Army Brand”. With this initiative, the Army intends to make our compatriots aware of the main distinctive features and values of our Army, as well as the importance of Security and Defense, the role played by the Army in them, and the present and future of our Institution.
The “Army Brand” represents what the Army is and what it does, always within the framework of the precepts of our Constitution and our legal system; the Army must transmit confidence, security, abnegation, spirit of sacrifice and guarantee of success in each of its actions, with the objective of serving our fellow citizens. As a result of all this, we have adopted the motto: “Army, the strength of values”.
A key element in the projection of the identity of the “Army Brand” are the Brand Ambassadors, who assume the commitment to disseminate these values, the reality and image of the Army in different areas, thus contributing to increase the knowledge that society has of its army. In this way, from now on, Maxi Viloria, as Ambassador, will materialize in a visible way the link between the Army and the society.
