ADDING ARTISTIC SKILLS AT RTVCYL EXTRAORDINARY PEOPLE

2

Andrea Garcia from Fundación Personas Segovia, Rosario Casado, Andrea’s mother, and Juan Antonio Garcia, Andrea’s father, shared a television encounter with Cristina Camell on the program Vamos a Ver RTVCYL on February 5. Sharing the idea of making a painting is what Andrea and her father Juan Antonio put into practice from minute one. Going to buy the boards, deciding the cutting size, printing the paint base or marking the margins are tasks they share within the creative process.

Andrea goes daily to the Virgen de Valvanera center of Fundación Personas in Segovia where she shares activities, learning, friendship and joy.
In the creative process of Andrea and her father Juan Antonio, she suggests the drawing and from there her father marks outlines that she then fills in with amazing meticulousness.
The sum of this task over two or three days a week in which they share skills, has resulted in an exhibition at the Casa Joven de Segovia that has recently closed.

Andrea also enjoys listening to music, helping with household chores, following sports and news or reading. She is currently reading “El tiempo entre costuras”.
The sum of creativity with didactics and art results in enjoyment and learning, obtaining transforming creative proposals.
