18 polling stations will be cognitively accessible for the 10N elections

11

The Government Delegate of Castilla y León, Mercedes Martín, announced this morning at a press conference the electoral arrangements for the upcoming general elections on November 10 and, among other data, highlighted the incorporation of more signage inside the polling stations in order to ensure cognitive accessibility, as Plena Inclusion has been demanding since the last elections.

For the signage of these polling stations, Plena Inclusion has provided a battery of 20 posters (one describing the process and the rest describing the location); a guide for the use and application of these posters, as well as technical advice from cognitive accessibility professionals to ensure understanding of the space in each of the provincial capitals.
