The Asociación Belenista Castellana de Valladolid presents the Star Nativity Scene to Fundación Personas

Fundación Personas received today the Belén Estrella, a solidarity initiative promoted by the Asociación Belenista Castellana de Valladolid that unites tradition, culture and social commitment.

The award ceremony took place at the “Dos Pinos” Day Center of Fundación Personas in Valladolid and was attended by institutional and social representatives, including Yolanda Burgoa Durán, deputy of the Education and Culture Service of the Valladolid Provincial Council. Provincial Council of ValladolidIrene Carvajal Crusat, Councilor Delegate of the Education and Culture Department of the Valladolid City Council. Valladolid City Counciland Luis Samaniego Martínez de Rituerto, founding partner of Lexcyl Abogadosthe sponsor of the project.

On behalf of Fundación Personas, Dulce de la Rosa, member of the Board of Directors, and Ramón Fernández and David del Campo, directors of the “El Pino” and “Dos Pinos” Day Care Centers, attended.

The Star Nativity Scene is part of the Social Work created in 2023 by the Asociación Belenista Castellana de Valladolid, with the aim of promoting the Nativity Scene tradition with a clear social projection, promoting the union between people and supporting local entities.
During the year 2025, Fundación Personas will be the beneficiary of this initiative, receiving 107 Nativity Scenes, thanks to the sponsorship of Lexcyl Abogados, which allocates part of its profits to social projects. This support reinforces the shared commitment to a more inclusive and supportive society in Valladolid.

About Fundación Personas
Fundación Personas is a reference entity in Castilla y León with a social base of 3000 families and dedicated to the care of people with intellectual disabilities. Created in 2008 by five associations ((ADECAS Guardo, ASPANIS Palencia, APADEFIM Segovia, ASPRONA Valladolid and ASPROSUB Zamora) in the region, its purpose is to accompany people in all stages of their lives, providing the necessary individualized support, allowing them to develop their life project in a full and satisfactory way, with a vocation for social transformation. It has more than 2,000 professionals and provides daily assistance to 2,300 people with disabilities in 140 locations and 100 operational centers in Castilla y León.
