- The Special Employment Center, Grupo Lincein collaboration with the Junta de Castilla y Leónsuccessfully closes the development of the training action“Auxiliary Services to the Industry“. This initiative, which took place between May 22 and July 31, 2023, reaffirms the joint commitment of both entities to strengthen training and employment for people with disabilities and functional diversity in the region.
The training action, an integral part of the Specific Vocational Training Program (FEMP) funded directly by the Junta de Castilla y León, has given 10 participants the opportunity to acquire specialized skills in areas such as quality walls, welding, painting, electricity, 3D printing and key competencies for employment. For two and a half months, participants have been guided through a curriculum that combines theoretical and practical content, with a daily duration of 6 hours.
“We are thrilled to have been part of this training action that has provided people with mental disabilities and functional diversity with the necessary tools to reach their full potential in the workplace,” said Daniel Clavero, manager of the Special Employment Center with the largest workforce in Castilla y León.“The collaboration with the Junta de Castilla y León reflects our shared commitment to promoting inclusion and equal opportunities.”

The project has been made possible thanks to the support of the Castilla y León Employment Plan 2021-2024, with a focus on Axis 2 “Training”. In addition, this initiative translates into a solid commitment on the part of Grupo Lince, since it has been agreed to hire 50% of the participants at the end of the training.
The enthusiastic response of the participants and the high level of interest shown have been fundamental to the success of the training action. In line with this success, Grupo Lince has gone a step further, offering concrete employment opportunities to the graduates. In total, 3 people have been hired on 100% temporary employment promotion contracts for one year, while 2 people have secured temporary contracts for 50% of their working day, also with a duration of 12 months. Additionally, 1 participant has secured employment with an external company while completing the course.
This exemplary training action not only highlights the potential of public-private collaboration in generating inclusive employment, but also celebrates the individual achievements of each participant in their journey towards a fulfilling career.
