On April 12 at 13:00 the 46th edition of the Asprona Walk to be held on Saturday May 6 in Valladolid was presented at the Science Museum of Valladolid.
The oldest solidarity march in Spain is back.
“WHAT IS ESSENTIAL REMAINS”
This year the campaign of the 46th Asprona March is very oriented to attract young audiences, between 15 and 25 years old, with new strategies that connect with this younger audience to take over the generational relay and at the same time re-activate the adult audience and families. After 45 years, in Asprona we have asked ourselves this question:

- Born in Valladolid
- In 1978
- He belongs to the generation of the XENNIALS, a micro generation located between 1977 and 1983. Between the millennials and ‘those from before’. They are young people who also knew the Walkman, the modem or the memorization of phone numbers. That is, they knew life without Internet or apps, but they love and use new technologies.
- Therefore, it has lived through and adapted to changes (technological and social).
- Named ONA – Ona means “the beautiful lady who teaches us”. It is a name that characterizes women who are caring, loving, creative and usually have a lot of patience and perseverance to achieve their goals.
And all these ingredients, we have included them in a video with YouTube aesthetics , so that we can reach young people. And so we have given life to ONA, the change expert:
The poster
If there is something that has been changing throughout all the editions of the Asprona March, it has been the poster. Unique designs made by very different profiles of artists and people who have collaborated giving image to the March.
This year the poster is the work of local artist, Jorge Peligroa well-known graphic designer, illustrator and muralist. For this occasion, Jorge has used the photographic collage as a means to represent the changes experienced by the different generations of walkers of the Asprona March alluding to different historical moments and integrating them into the current context. The result has been an explosion of intense color with current and vintage elements coexisting and playing with this year’s slogan: “The essential remains”.

The Song
To follow the strategic line of reaching the younger audience, this year we have dared with a RAP
The song is composed and performed by Inadaptado, “Alter Ego” of the musician and presenter Miguel Alvarez and responds to its vital premises: Do not bend or stick to trends or established paths, and seek their north in any direction.

THE COLLECTION TARGET
Effort is rewarded. With the contributions we help people with intellectual disabilities to have an independent life project.
This year’s goal is to raise funds to equip two new supervised housing units for young people with disabilities of ASPRONA-FundaciónPersonas Valladolid The supervised apartments are intended to give peace of mind to the families of these young people who, as they go through the stages, ask themselves: What happens when I’m not there? Eight people can live in each of these two apartments that are going to be set up, always accompanied by a professional who will attend to their needs. A service that we continue to promote to give families the peace of mind they deserve.
