Next Saturday, May 10 will be held the 46th edition of the Aspanis Walk with the slogan ‘Level UP. Together we level up and that it will be sponsored by the National Police in recognition of the support and protection work they carry out with the most vulnerable.
This year’s goal is to surpass the more than 13,440 euros raised last year and the 1,000 participants. All proceeds will go towards improving the accessibility of the Avenida de Madrid center.
From Thursday, April 24 until the day of the race, registrations are open for both cyclists and walkers who want to participate in the race and can be made through its website and at the booth in the Plaza Mayor.
The march will leave from the Darsena at 9:15 for the first and at 9:30 for the second. The route will be the usual to Viñalta, the 30 to return by the Second Sotillo to the Plaza Mayor.
Antonio Mota, manager of Aspanis, stressed that the march represents the same path of challenges that people with disabilities face every day, and that overcoming each of these stretches is only possible with teamwork.
For his part, the provincial commissioner José Carlos Donoso, thanked for having been chosen as sponsors of the march because, “in the DNA of the police is to help the most vulnerable” and this recognition is an honor for their work.
