On June 21st at the Narciso Suarez Canoe Center we celebrated the beginning of summer. Painting the wave 150 people between Vallkirias Pisuerga y Project MIRAR-Persons Foundation with the support of AQUAVALL and guided by Leo Harlem.
From early in the morning Valkirias Pisuerga prepared tents, tables and canoes where they welcomed 90 creators of the MIRAR4.0 Project who came from Aguilar de Campoo, Guardo, Zamora, Segovia, Palencia and Valladolid with their positive energy and tuned oars to give their all in a day of creative coexistence and united by values of admirable self-improvement.
Leo Harlem accompanied at all times the dynamic of painting the container that holds the dragon boats with the artist Gerardo Vacas as a creative guide. The dragons designed by the creators were placed with style and professionalism by Juanjo from the company DEXTER who altruistically provided a backpack kit, glass and Aquavall comic book, a great ally of this joint project together with the La Caixa Foundation.
In addition to painting the wave, the creators of the MIRAR4.0 project paddled with Vallkirias Pisuerga.
The effort of rowing and painting was rewarded with a plate of potatoes with ribs cooked by the collaborating restaurant Vinotinto…. and to digest the food, what better way than singing and dancing with the groups Las Bulsara and the rumba of Tan Agustito.
In the afternoon, the story Pucelita, the mermaid of the Pisuerga River by the writer Gustavo Martín Garzo at La Norias Park.
With interpretation by the collective MAPVA the creators’ nest boxes of the MIRAR4.0 Project were installed in the trees of the park for multisensory enjoyment.
An activity connected by the altruistic collaboration of Leo Harlem that adds overcoming, creativity and joyful inclusion bringing transforming views to our active society and in a constant movement that unites us by sharing capabilities.
