One more year we have been lucky to have our “great friend”, scientist, writer and adventurer, JAVIER CACHO, who as always makes us spend exciting, fun and adventurous moments. But this year he did not come alone, he brought with him his great friend, INGRID ORTLIEB, who proved to be a great explorer who has experienced great challenges in the Arctic and who soon conquered our hearts as well.
We learned many things about Antarctica from Javier and about the Arctic from Ingrid. We also discovered that our friend Javier Cacho has an island named after him in Antarctica in recognition of his great scientific work “Cacho Island”.
Finally we want to thank you for visiting us again and you know that we always welcome you with open doors, this is your home. We would also like to thank Inés, the mother of a student of the school, for making this great meeting possible.
