On September 8, we had the pleasure of receiving at the headquarters of Fundación Personas Zamora, the visit of Isabel Blanco, the Minister of Family and Equal Opportunities of the Junta de Castilla y León. The president of Asprosub Fundación Personas Zamora, Patricio Santana, Ángeles García, president of Fundación Personas and the general director, Jesús Mazariegos, were in charge of welcoming her.
Together with them, Isabel Blanco toured the Asprosub nurseries in Morales del Vino accompanied in turn, the vice president of the Diputación de Zamora, José María Barrios, the mayor of Morales, Carmen Lorenzo and the territorial delegate, Clara San Damian.
This visit takes place one day after the Third Sector Law was approved in the Spanish Parliament, which provides a legal framework, until now non-existent, and which will provide organizations such as ours with legal security. In addition, as a novelty, it highlights the social agreement to provide the necessary economic stability after the pandemic. The law also includes the reform of the Law on Volunteers, “which was necessary”, according to the minister. Blanco also hoped that the decree on consultation would see the light of day before the end of the year.
On behalf of all of us at Fundación Personas, we would like to thank the Councilor for her visit and interest in getting to know us a little better.
