“The daily work carried out by the professionals of the Special Employment Center, in collaboration with SERUNIÓN, has been recognized in the XIII Edition of these national awards.”
The various awards granted by HOSTELERIA DE ESPAÑA distinguish companies and institutions that have excelled in aspects such as innovation, CSR, sustainability, social commitment, etc., with previous winners including Luis del Olmo, the Michelin Guide, Ferrán Adriá and Julio Soler, Grupo Vips, Ilunion and many other prestigious initiatives.
GRUPO LINCE ASPRONA SLU is the largest Special Employment Center in Castilla y León, with a staff of nearly 700 people, 90% of them with disabilities, and a track record of 35 years.
In 2015, hand in hand with SERUNION, Spain’s leading company in collective catering, what has become one of its most modern central kitchens was located in the Envite Bioclimatic Building (LINCE’s headquarters): more than 1,000 m2 of facilities and preparation of more than 8,000 meals a day.
In these facilities operates a labor enclave of GRUPO LINCE for people with disabilities with special employability difficulties, a clear example of SERUNION’s level of commitment to the inclusion of this group in the labor market.
As an example of the level of quality of this kitchen, since 2015 it has been preparing meals for 80 schools in Castilla y León and, since 2018, the food for the Valladolid City Council’s home help service, which serves more than 400 elderly users every day in accordance with the strictest food safety standards and quality certifications (ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001).
GRUPO LINCE offers its clients a wide range of services related to cleaning, gardening, marketing, industrial services and hospitality, in which in addition to its customer-oriented approach, it has an innovative support system that covers the needs of its workers to develop a normalized work activity aimed at improving their quality of life.
Grupo Lince belongs to FUNDACIÓN PERSONAS, a regional non-profit organization that provides services to 2,500 people with disabilities throughout all stages of their life cycle, through an extensive network of 60 centers and services located in 30 municipalities and with the technical support of 1,700 workers and a social base of 3,000 families.
