- MIRAR 4.0 Movement receives 7,000€ from Fundación La Caixa in 2024
Valladolid, June 28, 2024 — Signing of the collaboration agreement between the MIRAR 4.0 Projectof Fundación Personas and La Caixa Foundation. The signing took place in the Envite building and was attended by Natalia Diez Simancas, head of Social Action Castilla y León of Fundación La Caixa, Raquel Barcenilla, director of Institutional Banking and as hosts, Daniel Clavero, general director of Fundación Personas and its president, Ángeles García.

This year, the project receives a contribution of €7,000 from Fundación La Caixa. The program involves the participation of 95 creators professionally supported by Fundación Personas in different locations, including Guardo, Aguilar de Campoo, Zamora, Segovia, Palencia and Valladolid.
The MIRAR 4.0 Project, a program that promotes creative inclusion, has been made possible thanks to the financial support of Fundación La Caixa and the mentorship of the comedian Leo Harlem. Throughout its three editions, the project has offered its participants an enriching experience that promotes creative and personal growth, while spreading values of inclusion and coexistence in society.
The initiative stands out for its focus on movement and creativity, inspired by Heraclitus’ proverbial phrase: “EVERYTHING FLOWS, NOTHING REMAINS.”
Project activities include:
– Inclusive flamenco with Jose Galán from Seville
– Cazamaeteoritos with Jose Vicente Casado
– Musical tour through all the centers of Miguel Inadaptado
– Exchange of Abrazapájaros with the school Príncipes de Asturias de Quijorna, Madrid and GREFA
– Dry rowing with Narciso Suárez and decoration of paddles
– Decoration of nesting boxes for the illustration of the story “Pucelita, la sirena del río Pisuerga” by Gustavo Martín Garzo
– Meeting in Valladolid with Vallkirias Pisuerga
– Round table at the Ateneo de Madrid
– Sculpture of dragon with oars
– Meeting for the International Day of Persons with Disabilities at the castle of Fuensaldaña

The collaboration with Fundación La Caixa through CaixaBankwhose network of branches allows for the detection of social needs and the channeling of aid, reinforces the commitment of both entities to the inclusion and creative development of people with disabilities.
About Fundación Personas
Fundación Personas was created in 2008 by five associations in Castilla y León: ADECAS Guardo, ASPANIS Palencia, APADEFIM Segovia, ASPRONA Valladolid and ASPROSUB Zamora. Our mission is to improve the quality of life of people with intellectual disabilities and their families. To do this we provide comprehensive services, in the environment and covering all stages of the life cycle of a person. The founding associations belong to the family movement Plena Inclusion movement and bring 60 years of experience, share innovation and foster mutual collaboration.
With a regional presence, we are present in 30 towns in Castilla y León, urban centers and rural areas, where we attend to situations of disability or dependence and provide support for the promotion of personal autonomy. We also offer support and training to people at risk of social exclusion. Our activity is governed by criteria of quality and proximity in care; efficiency and transparency in management; equal opportunities, accessibility and respect for diversity as a driver of social transformation.
In the educational-care area, we manage 5,300 places daily in 75 centers, distributed in more than 30 locations in Valladolid, Palencia, Segovia and Zamora. In the labor area, Fundación Personas has 3 Special Employment Centers (CEE) Lince Group S.L.U., APADEFIM 2000 S.L.U.. and CEE Fundación Personas – with a workforce of 939 employees, more than 90% of whom have some type of disability.
