Professional Orientation Actions for Employment and Assistance for Self-Employment Program

Description

The PROA program was an initiative aimed at improving the employability of people with disabilities who are unemployed. It focused on the development of individualized guidance, training, and job placement itineraries, promoting their integration into the labor market through collaboration with local businesses.

Through HORIZON, the Labor Intermediation and Guidance Office of Fundación Personas, actions were developed between 2018 and 2020 alone, targeting more than 5,000 long-term unemployed individuals and people at risk of social exclusion in different locations in Castilla y León. These actions have provided employment to 368 people.

Areas of action

Target audience

5,272 people with disabilities in a situation of unemployment, attended in the provinces of Valladolid, Palencia, Zamora, Ávila and Segovia.
