IV Meeting on Innovation and Best Practices

More than 100 professionals linked to direct care shared experiences and knowledge through innovation and quality projects on November 6 in Valladolid. This event is part of the program of activities with which Fundación Personas celebrates its tenth anniversary, ten years that have positioned it as a reference entity serving thousands of people and families in Castilla y León.

Throughout the day, six work experiences were presented, all of them of real practice and with results that add value to the support received by people with intellectual disabilities: “We also go out” (Palencia), “Our rights and our rules” (Segovia), “Music surrounds us” (Valladolid), “Direct attention to the disease and the end of life” (Zamora), “Exchange program” (Guardo) and “Thematic dinners” (Aguilar de Campoo).

The event was opened by Pablo Rodríguez Hoyos, General Director of Family and Social Policies of the Junta de Castilla y León and closed by Jesús Mazariegos, Director of Fundación Personas.

Fundación APROCOR ‘s ETAPPA team and David Rincón, Real Valladolid‘s psychologist, talked about personal plans and the importance of emotional retribution. “Caring by taking care of each other” is the asset that was present at all times to bring out the best in everyone.
