Description

Professional who is part of a team whose main tasks focus on psychological assessment, the development of adaptive and social skills, intervention in emotional and behavioural problems, support for users, professionals and families, and the promotion of social inclusion, thus improving their quality of life.

Functions

  • Carry out and coordinate the planning of each person’s Life Projects, providing objectives, guidelines and specific support measures
  • Participate in the planning of the different activities and programmes to be developed in all the person’s environments (day centre, residential home, housing, community…)
  • Assess the psychological and support capabilities and needs of each person, using standardised instruments and tests (Adaptive Behaviour Assessment, Quality of Life Scales, Dependency Law Scales…)
  • Design and participate in programme evaluation methodology
  • Monitor and evaluate Life Projects
  • Design unified work tools that support direct care professionals in the performance of their work (action protocols, data collection forms, etc.)
  • Design and develop intervention programmes at both individual and group level
  • Offer advice to users, professionals, families and external agents involved in people’s life projects
  • Coordinate with all professionals in cross-cutting teams, as well as management and direct care staff
  • Manage all documentation related to people’s files to keep all information and interventions up to date
  • Design and deliver training activities on technical aspects that can contribute to improving the quality of life of people and professionals
  • Conduct studies and research in the field of quality improvement for people with disabilities and their families

Professional Profile Requirements

  • Degree in Psychology
  • General Health Master’s Degree
  • Experience in the disability sector and other possible Master’s studies will be valued. Driving licence and own vehicle
