{"id":20372,"date":"2020-09-09T12:29:07","date_gmt":"2020-09-09T12:29:07","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/fundacionpersonas.es\/fundacion-personas-trains-the-entire-staff-in-covid19\/"},"modified":"2026-02-07T12:41:10","modified_gmt":"2026-02-07T12:41:10","slug":"fundacion-personas-trains-the-entire-staff-in-covid19","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/fundacionpersonas.es\/en\/fundacion-personas-trains-the-entire-staff-in-covid19\/","title":{"rendered":"Fundaci\u00f3n Personas trains the entire staff in COVID19"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p><span class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-cyan-blue-color\">The social entity believes it is essential that all its professionals receive training and information on the basic aspects of the disease and how it is transmitted and personal protection.<\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Fundaci\u00f3n Personas<\/strong>, a reference entity in Castilla y Le\u00f3n, dedicated to the comprehensive care of people with intellectual disabilities throughout their life cycle, has deployed in recent weeks <strong>preventive training <\/strong>courses <strong>in COVID-19 <\/strong>for all professionals working in their Residences, Sociosanitary Centers, Educational and central offices.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Under the title &#8220;Prevention measures for Covid-19 in nursing homes and social and healthcare centers&#8221;, almost <strong>1,000 professionals from Fundaci\u00f3n Personas<\/strong> have received different training actions, both online and in person, aimed at minimizing risks and reducing the probability of infection by the coronavirus, prioritizing the safety of the entire workforce so that they can carry out their work with full guarantees.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Since the beginning of the pandemic, the Department of Occupational Risk Prevention of Fundaci\u00f3n Personas has reinforced preventive measures to ensure safety in the workplace and to have the <strong>maximum guarantees in the 60<\/strong> health care, residential and educational <strong>centers<\/strong> that the entity has in Castilla y Le\u00f3n.  <\/p>\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p>Jes\u00fas Mazariegos, general manager of the organization, explains that &#8220;occupational risk prevention has always been a priority for Fundaci\u00f3n Personas. Now, with the pandemic, we all have to be able to comply with the established protocols. This type of training gives us the <strong>confidence and security<\/strong> we need to carry out our daily work and be able to <strong>attend to the needs of such a vulnerable group as people with intellectual disabilities<\/strong>.&#8221;  <\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/fundacionpersonas.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/10\/WhatsApp-Image-2020-09-02-at-12.34.48-1-632x290-1.jpeg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-3356\"\/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong><\/strong><strong><\/strong><strong><\/strong><strong>About Fundaci\u00f3n Personas<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n<p class=\"has-small-font-size wp-block-paragraph\"><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.fundacionpersonas.org\/\" target=\"_blank\">Fundaci\u00f3n Personas<\/a> was created in 2008 by five associations in Castilla y Le\u00f3n: <strong><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.adecas-guardo.es\/\" target=\"_blank\">ADECAS<\/a> Guardo, <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.aspanis-palencia.es\/\" target=\"_blank\">ASPANIS<\/a> Palencia, <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.apadefim-segovia.es\/\" target=\"_blank\">APADEFIM<\/a> Segovia, <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.asprona-valladolid.es\/\" target=\"_blank\">ASPRONA<\/a> Valladolid and <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.asprosub-zamora.es\/\" target=\"_blank\">ASPROSUB<\/a> Zamora<\/strong>. Our mission is to improve the quality of life of people with intellectual disabilities and their families by providing comprehensive services, in the environment and covering all stages of the life cycle. The founding associations belong to the <strong>Plena Inclusion<\/strong> family movement and bring 60 years of experience, share innovation and foster mutual collaboration.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"has-small-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">With regional implantation, we are present in 30 localities of Castilla <strong>y<\/strong> Le\u00f3n, urban centers and rural areas, where we attend to situations of disability or dependence and provide support for the promotion of personal autonomy. We also offer support and training to people at risk of social exclusion.
