La Valmuza Golf<\/mark><\/a>in Salamanca was the venue for the Spanish Golf Championship FEDDI 2023<\/mark><\/a>which was held on September 27 and 28. Three of our users of Fundaci\u00f3n Personas Valladolid<\/strong> went there to participate in this adapted golf tournament. <\/p>\n\n

<\/div>\n\n

Specifically, Elena Hern\u00e1ndez, Alberto G\u00f3mez, Alberto Hontiyuelo and Marcos Redondo, under the tutelage of their coach, Carlos de la Hera.<\/p>\n\n

Alberto G\u00f3mez’s brilliant performance during the tournament made him proclaim Champion of Spain<\/strong> in individual 3-hole skills.<\/p>\n\n

But the triumphs did not stop there. The enthusiasm and excitement that the entire team showed during the championship was truly inspiring. Each of the players demonstrated a competitive spirit and a love of golf<\/strong> that lit up the course at La Valmuza, Salamanca. <\/p>\n\n

About Fundaci\u00f3n Personas<\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n

Fundaci\u00f3n Personas<\/mark><\/strong><\/a> was created in 2008 by five associations in Castilla y Le\u00f3n: ADECAS<\/mark><\/strong><\/a> Guardo, ASPANIS<\/mark><\/a> <\/strong>Palencia, APADEFIM<\/mark><\/strong><\/a> Segovia, ASPRONA<\/mark><\/strong><\/a> Valladolid and ASPROSUB<\/mark><\/strong><\/a> Zamora. Our mission is to improve the quality of life of people with intellectual disabilities and their families. To do this we provide comprehensive services, in the environment and covering all stages of the life cycle of a person. The founding associations belong to the family movement Plena Inclusion<\/a><\/strong> movement and bring 60 years of experience, share innovation and foster mutual collaboration.<\/p>\n\n

With a regional presence, we are present in 30 towns in Castilla y Le\u00f3n<\/strong>, urban centers and rural areas, where we attend to situations of disability or dependence and provide support for the promotion of personal autonomy. We also offer support and training to people at risk of social exclusion. Our activity is governed by criteria of quality and proximity in service; efficiency and transparency in management; equal opportunities, accessibility and respect for diversity as a driver of social transformation.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n

In the educational-care area<\/strong>, we manage 5,300 places daily in 75 centers, distributed in more than 30 locations in Valladolid, Palencia, Segovia and Zamora. In the labor area<\/strong>, Fundaci\u00f3n Personas has 3 Special Employment Centers<\/strong> (CEE) Lince Group<\/mark><\/strong><\/a> S.L.U., APADEFIM 2000 S.L.U.<\/mark><\/strong><\/a>. and CEE Fundaci\u00f3n Personas – with a workforce of 939 employees<\/strong>, more than 90% of whom have some type of disability.<\/p>\n\n
