In this way, we help companies to be socially responsible by making it possible for people with disabilities to exercise their right to work and fully integrate into a company. <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Corporate Social Responsibility<\/strong> (CSR) was a concept introduced by the <strong>European Commission <\/strong>in the 1990s with the aim of encouraging entrepreneurs to build on a more prosperous, responsible, socially and environmentally responsible corporate model.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Complying with the <strong>General Law on Disability (LGD<\/strong>) is not only a legal obligation, but also an opportunity for companies to<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/fundacionpersonas.es\/en\/collaborate\/the-general-law-on-disability\/\"> opportunity for companies to make a commitment to diversity in their workforces. <\/a><\/strong>This commitment helps to break down barriers, prejudices and biases that exist in society against people and situations of which we are unaware. The decision to comply with the LGD can be the beginning of a CSR strategy or a firm commitment to diversity in your company. <\/p>\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img
