{"id":20163,"date":"2022-06-20T09:54:00","date_gmt":"2022-06-20T09:54:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/fundacionpersonas.es\/fundacion-personas-cuellar-renews-itstraining-offer-with-a-new-programrestoration-assistant-program-andtransformation-of-furniture\/"},"modified":"2026-02-07T12:36:20","modified_gmt":"2026-02-07T12:36:20","slug":"fundacion-personas-cuellar-renews-itstraining-offer-with-a-new-programrestoration-assistant-program-andtransformation-of-furniture","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/fundacionpersonas.es\/en\/fundacion-personas-cuellar-renews-itstraining-offer-with-a-new-programrestoration-assistant-program-andtransformation-of-furniture\/","title":{"rendered":"Fundaci\u00f3n Personas Cu\u00e9llar renews its<br>training offer with a new program<br>restoration assistant program and<br>transformation of furniture"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The project: &#8220;<strong>Furniture restoration and transformation assistant<\/strong>&#8221; of Fundaci\u00f3n Personas<br\/>in Cu\u00e9llar has been selected by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.caixabank.es\/particular\/home\/particulares_es.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-cyan-blue-color\">CaixaBank<\/mark><\/a> y <a href=\"https:\/\/fundacioncajasegovia.es\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-cyan-blue-color\">Caja Segovia Foundation<\/mark><\/a> in the call of<br\/>&#8216;<strong>Ayudas de Acci\u00f3n Social 2022<\/strong>&#8216;, which aims to promote local development and employment,<br\/>by supporting sectors of the population at risk of social exclusion and improving the<br\/>quality of life of people with disabilities, the elderly or other socially<br\/>vulnerable groups.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"has-pale-cyan-blue-background-color has-background wp-block-paragraph\">One more year the entity Fundaci\u00f3n Personas in Cu\u00e9llar will launch a new project<br\/>training for a total of <strong>14 people with intellectual disabilities<\/strong> of the day centers and occupational<br\/>, thanks to this economic collaboration with the Caja Segovia Foundation and<br\/>CaixaBank.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The <strong>objective<\/strong> of this project is to train in the skills and abilities, as well as in the social and communicational values<br\/>necessary to perform the tasks and functions<br\/>of the kitchen assistant profile, to a group of people with intellectual disabilities from the<br\/><strong>Ntra. Sra. de los \u00c1ngeles Center of Fundaci\u00f3n Personas Cu\u00e9llar <\/strong><br\/>that will allow them in the short term to have an occupational, therapeutic and rehabilitative training activity in their center.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The group of people with intellectual disabilities demand training that allows in the short term<br\/>provide an occupation to them, (protected occupational activity and<br\/>supported). Therefore, we have raised a concrete, close and realistic project using the<br\/>own means of the <strong>Mar de Pinares<\/strong> de Cu\u00e9llar <strong>Centers<\/strong>, for the development of a training<br\/>in the profile of kitchen assistant with training in healthy eating. <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We have adapted to the current situation and the context we are currently living due to the<br\/>pandemic of Covid19, providing the necessary preventive and security measures to<br\/>provide training with all the guarantees, and in the pedagogical modalities that are<br\/>required.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>The program will develop activities such as:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u25cf Learning basic processes of furniture restoration and finishing.<br\/>\u25cf Knowing and using the tools and equipment necessary for the activity.<br\/>\u25cf Activities to apply basic notions of carpentry applied to the<br\/>restoration of furniture<br\/>\u25cf Putting into practice the techniques of pictorial restoration.<br\/>\u25cf Activities to maintain and develop appropriate professional relationships<br\/>with team members. Effective communication with the appropriate<br\/>people at all times, conveying the information that<br\/>is necessary.<br\/>\u25cf Conduct training activities that reflect the importance of<br\/>sustainability and recycling. <br\/><\/p>\n\n<p class=\"has-light-green-cyan-background-color has-background wp-block-paragraph\">The project began this June and is scheduled to end on November 11, 2022,<br\/>and is intended to be maintained over time. The same<br\/>will carry out the theoretical training at the Ntra. Our mission is to improve the quality of life of people with intellectual disabilities and their families. To do this we provide comprehensive services, in the environment and covering all stages of the life cycle of a person.  The founding associations belong to the family movement <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.plenainclusioncyl.org\/home\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Plena Inclusion<\/a><\/strong> movement and bring 60 years of experience, share innovation and foster mutual collaboration.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"font-size:14px\">With a regional presence, we are <strong>present in 30 towns in Castilla y Le\u00f3n<\/strong>, urban centers and rural areas, where we attend to situations of disability or dependence and provide support for the promotion of personal autonomy. We also offer support and training to people at risk of social exclusion.  Our activity is governed by criteria of quality and proximity in service; efficiency and transparency in management; <strong>equal opportunities, accessibility and respect for diversity as a driver of social transformation.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p class=\"has-white-color has-text-color has-background has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"background-color:#1e98ac;font-style:normal;font-weight:100\"><strong>In the educational-care area, we manage 5,300 places daily in 75 centers, distributed in more than 30 locations in Valladolid, Palencia, Segovia and Zamora.  <\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p class=\"has-white-background-color has-background wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"font-size:15px;font-style:normal;font-weight:300\">In the <strong>labor area<\/strong>, Fundaci\u00f3n Personas has <strong>3 Special Employment Centers<\/strong> (CEE) <a href=\"https:\/\/grupolince.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-cyan-blue-color\">Lince Group<\/mark><\/strong><\/a> S.L.U., <a
