Students from the El Pino school of Fundaci\u00f3n Personas, participate in the pre-labor workshop that teaches them gardening while they take care of the Pato park.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n

The students of the El Pino de Obreg\u00f3n school have been involved as part of a project in collaboration with the Valladolid City Council. Valladolid City Council<\/span><\/a> promotes the pre-labor insertion of people with disabilities.<\/p>\n\n

This initiative was born by covid, recognizes Mar\u00eda Huete, deputy director of the center of T\u00f3rtola street that offers educational response to 35 students with special educational support needs, with intellectual disabilities aged between 13 and 21 years. These students attend the Compulsory Basic Education (EBO) and Transition to Adult Life. <\/p>\n\n

This type of initiative is especially beneficial for students with learning difficulties or disabilities.<\/p>\n\n

About Fundaci\u00f3n Personas<\/em><\/p>\n\n

Fundaci\u00f3n Personas<\/a> was created in 2008 by five associations in Castilla y Le\u00f3n: ADECAS<\/a> Guardo, ASPANIS<\/a> Palencia, APADEFIM<\/a> Segovia, ASPRONA<\/a> Valladolid and ASPROSUB<\/a> Zamora<\/strong>. With a regional presence, we are present in 30 towns in Castilla y Le\u00f3n<\/strong>, urban centers and rural areas, where we attend to situations of disability or dependence and provide support for the promotion of personal autonomy. We also offer support and training to people at risk of social exclusion. Our activity is governed by criteria of quality and proximity in service; efficiency and transparency in management; equal opportunities, accessibility and respect for diversity as a driver of social transformation.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n

In the educational-care area<\/strong>, we manage 5,300 places<\/strong> daily in 75 centers<\/strong>, distributed in more than 30 locations in Valladolid, Palencia, Segovia and Zamora. <\/p>\n\n

In the labor area<\/strong>, Fundaci\u00f3n Personas has 3 Special Employment Centers<\/strong> (CEE) – Grupo Lince<\/a> S.L.U., APADEFIM 2000 S.L.U.<\/a> and CEE Fundaci\u00f3n Personas – with a staff of 900 workers<\/strong>, more than 90% of whom have some type of disability. <\/p>\n\n
