Last Sunday, October 20th, 60 friends of Fundaci\u00f3n Personas Valladolid were invited by Lesaffre<\/strong> to watch a rugby match at the Pepe Rojo fields. We enjoyed an exciting match between VRAC and Ampos Ordizia that ended with a victory for VRAC<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n

After the game, we had the opportunity to share the “third time<\/strong>” in the company of the players, in a magnificent atmosphere of fraternity and celebration. We would like to express our sincere thanks to all the participants, especially to the VRAC board and its players, whose collaboration has been fundamental for the success of this initiative. <\/p>\n\n

Fundaci\u00f3n Personas’ relationship with Lesaffre began in 2018 thanks to the generosity and involvement of its employees. Throughout the year, all Lesaffre Ib\u00e9rica employees and their families have the opportunity to participate in different activities<\/strong>: bakery workshops, excursions, visits to the Bread Museum in Mayorga de Campos, tree planting, participation in the Asprona Walk, etc. <\/p>\n\n

About Fundaci\u00f3n Personas<\/strong><\/p>\n\n

Fundaci\u00f3n Personas<\/mark><\/strong><\/a> was created in 2008 by five associations in Castilla y Le\u00f3n: ADECAS<\/mark><\/strong><\/a> Guardo, ASPANIS<\/mark><\/a> <\/strong>Palencia, APADEFIM<\/mark><\/strong><\/a> Segovia, ASPRONA<\/mark><\/strong><\/a> Valladolid and ASPROSUB<\/mark><\/strong><\/a> Zamora. Our mission is to improve the quality of life of people with intellectual disabilities and their families. To do this we provide comprehensive services, in the environment and covering all stages of the life cycle of a person. The founding associations belong to the family movement Plena Inclusion<\/a><\/strong> movement and bring 60 years of experience, share innovation and foster mutual collaboration.<\/p>\n\n

With a regional presence, we are present in 30 towns in Castilla y Le\u00f3n<\/strong>, urban centers and rural areas, where we attend to situations of disability or dependence and provide support for the promotion of personal autonomy. We also offer support and training to people at risk of social exclusion. Our activity is governed by criteria of quality and proximity in care; efficiency and transparency in management; equal opportunities, accessibility and respect for diversity as a driver of social transformation.<\/strong> <\/p>\n\n

In the educational-care area<\/strong>, we manage 5,300 places daily in 75 centers, distributed in more than 30 locations in Valladolid, Palencia, Segovia and Zamora. In the labor area<\/strong>, Fundaci\u00f3n Personas has 3 Special Employment Centers<\/strong> (CEE) Lince Group<\/mark><\/strong><\/a> S.L.U., APADEFIM 2000 S.L.U.<\/mark><\/strong><\/a>. and CEE Fundaci\u00f3n Personas – with a workforce of 939 employees<\/strong>, more than 90% of whom have some type of disability.<\/p>\n\n
