At the Press Club ‘Entrepreneurship and employment: the future of Castilla y Le\u00f3n’ organized by Diario de Castilla y Le\u00f3n-El Mundo this Monday, the Minister of Industry, Trade and Employment of the Junta de Castilla described different programs underway, both from the field of vocational training and universities.<\/p>\n\n

The Councilor highlighted the climate of understanding between the productive sectors and the working population thanks to the promotion of public policies to achieve good results.<\/p>\n\n

He also valued that there is a strong and powerful market in the Community that not only manages to create jobs but also to create quality employment, but efforts are needed to face certain difficulties.<\/p>\n\n

The dizzying transformation of the labor market due to the irruption of new tools such as Artificial Intelligence is of concern in general, but more specifically to vulnerable sectors, which are already facing more difficulties in terms of employment. For this reason, the general director of Fundaci\u00f3n Personas, Daniel Clavero, called on people to “not wait” for the changes to take place, and urged them to join the transforming current in<\/strong> order to be part of this change. <\/p>\n\n

Over the years, Clavero explained, there have always been transformations that have affected the labor scenario, but at a different pace. “Historically there have been changes, but not at this speed, and we are concerned about where vulnerable people are left,” he said, before highlighting the important role played by the group he represents. “We are doing first-rate work,” he praised, giving as an example his presence at Renault<\/strong> and Airbus<\/strong>, to show that “disability has a lot to say”. <\/p>\n\n

For this reason, he encouraged the administrations to continue supporting their work, because “every euro that is invested is returned to society multiplied by three<\/strong>“. “We thank all the entrepreneurs who are supporting us, and the Regional Ministry, which has been at our side for many years and has recently increased aid, with close policies and dialogue”. <\/p>\n\n

In his analysis of the future of Castilla y Le\u00f3n in terms of entrepreneurship and employment, Clavero advanced that they are determined to apply Artificial Intelligence<\/strong> for the development of insertion itineraries or working life projects, and considered that it is a “turning point” comparable to the arrival of computer science or the Internet.<\/p>\n\n

According to current figures, Fundaci\u00f3n Personas represents more than 2,000 people in Castilla y Le\u00f3n during their working life<\/strong> and, of these, half are disabled. Of the 900 who work in employment centers, only 11% are under 30 years old and only 5% are under 25 years old. Regarding child unemployment, Daniel Clavero remarked, “We are concerned about young people’s employment because it guarantees the relay and the future of our activities; it is something we have to work on”. <\/p>\n\n
