La Marcha Asprona is back with a renewed image and a clear challenge: to continue adding players to the game of inclusion. In its 48th edition, the most emblematic solidarity event in Valladolid bets on a more dynamic and visually groundbreaking approach, inspired by the arcade aesthetics of classic video games. <\/p>\n\n

The event was presented this morning at the North Youth Space<\/strong><\/mark><\/a> of the Valladolid City Council<\/strong><\/mark><\/a> with the assistance of the Councilor for the Elderly, Family and Social Services, Rodrigo Nieto Garc\u00eda and Carolina del Bosque<\/strong>, Councilor for Youth, the deputy of Family and Equality, Social Action and Residential Centers of the Provincial Council of Valladolid<\/mark><\/strong><\/a>Alfonso Romo, the president of Fundaci\u00f3n Personas Asprona Valladolid, \u00c1ngeles Garc\u00eda, sponsors, collaborators and friends, and the comedian Leo Harlem. Leo Harlem<\/mark><\/strong><\/a>a faithful ambassador of the March, who once again this year has put his personal stamp on the event.<\/p>\n\n

A campaign with arcade aesthetics to appeal to all generations<\/strong><\/p>\n\n

Under the slogan Level Up! Together we level up! <\/strong>The Marcha Asprona continues to reinvent itself without losing its essence: to be a great solidarity party where the city walks together for the rights and inclusion of people with intellectual disabilities. This year, the visual design and narrative of the campaign immerses participants in a universe of pixels, retro references and spirit of challenge, with a clear message: every step counts to win this game for inclusion.<\/strong> <\/p>\n\n

A classic that continues to add players<\/strong><\/p>\n\n

One of the highlights of recent editions has been the increased participation of young people, who have made the Asprona Walk an even more vibrant and energetic event. The images of the route reflect this generational change, with more and more groups of friends, students and families joining this solidarity cause. <\/p>\n\n

From the organization, a special appeal is made to the youth of Valladolid<\/strong> so that this year the March again break records and the city demonstrates, once again, its commitment to inclusion<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n

The objective<\/strong> of the proceeds of this 48th edition of the Asprona Walk will be destined to the refurbishment works necessary for the implementation of two homes in Valladolid for people with intellectual disabilities severely affected or in the process of aging<\/strong>. These new spaces will allow offering a more personalized attention adapted to their needs, guaranteeing a safe, accessible and comfortable environment that improves their quality of life and favors their autonomy. <\/p>\n\n

An emblematic route with a festive finish<\/strong><\/p>\n\n

The 48th Asprona Walk will be held next Saturday, May 10,<\/strong> and maintains its traditional 20 kilometer<\/strong> route, starting at 9:30 a.m. from the Plaza del Milenio<\/strong>, a point that has become a regular feature of this solidarity event. From there, participants will walk along the banks of the Pisuerga and Esgueva rivers towards Renedo de Esgueva. <\/p>\n\n

The refreshment point<\/strong> will be located in the Valley of the Six Senses<\/mark><\/strong>,<\/a> where the walkers will be able to take a break and regain strength before returning to Valladolid . <\/p>\n\n

The finish line will be at the Campus of the Faculty of Economics<\/mark><\/a><\/strong>, where a final party awaits with a craft market, live music, gifts and many surprises to celebrate together the success of a new edition of the March.From the organization, the message is clear: There is no game without players. About Fundaci\u00f3n Personas<\/strong><\/p>\n\n

Fundaci\u00f3n Personas<\/mark><\/strong><\/a> was created in 2008 by five associations in Castilla y Le\u00f3n: ADECAS<\/mark><\/strong><\/a> Guardo, ASPANIS<\/mark><\/a> <\/strong>Palencia, APADEFIM<\/mark><\/strong><\/a> Segovia, ASPRONA<\/mark><\/strong><\/a> Valladolid and ASPROSUB<\/mark><\/strong><\/a> Zamora. Our mission is to improve the quality of life of people with intellectual disabilities and their families. To do this we provide comprehensive services, in the environment and covering all stages of the life cycle of a person. With a regional presence, we are present in 30 towns in Castilla y Le\u00f3n<\/strong>, urban centers and rural areas, where we attend to situations of disability or dependence and provide support for the promotion of personal autonomy. We also offer support and training to people at risk of social exclusion. Our activity is governed by criteria of quality and proximity in care; efficiency and transparency in management; equal opportunities, accessibility and respect for diversity as a driver of social transformation.<\/strong> <\/p>\n\n

In the educational-care area<\/strong>, we manage 5,300 places daily in 75 centers, distributed in more than 30 locations in Valladolid, Palencia, Segovia and Zamora. In the labor area<\/strong>, Fundaci\u00f3n Personas has 3 Special Employment Centers<\/strong> (CEE) Lince Group<\/mark><\/strong><\/a> S.L.U., APADEFIM 2000 S.L.U.<\/mark><\/strong><\/a>. and CEE Fundaci\u00f3n Personas – with a workforce of 939 employees<\/strong>, more than 90% of whom have some type of disability.<\/p>\n\n
