More than 60 people participated in the conference “Disability and Dependency in the Rural Environment”,<\/em> held at the Casa del Parque de Sanabria<\/strong> with the aim of analyzing the challenges and opportunities that exist in rural areas such as the Sanabria region and to strengthen the networking of social services, entities and public institutions.<\/p>\n\n

The institutional inauguration was carried out by Ramiro Silva Monterrubio<\/strong>, deputy of Personnel, Internal Regime, Social Policy and Family of the Provincial Council of Zamora, entity that has made possible the celebration of this day in the area. Sara Fern\u00e1ndez<\/strong>, territorial manager of Social Services in Zamora, also intervened, highlighting the importance of bringing specialized support to rural areas. On behalf of Fundaci\u00f3n Personas, Daniel Clavero<\/strong>, general director, presented the work of the organization in the province and reiterated the commitment to continue strengthening resources in the less populated areas. <\/p>\n\n

Presentation of the centers and services in Zamora<\/strong>The meeting included the presentation of the centers and services that Fundaci\u00f3n Personas develops in the province of Zamora. A video prepared for the occasion was shown and several speeches were given by Isidro Deza<\/strong>, delegate of Fundaci\u00f3n Personas in Zamora, and Montse Sastre<\/strong>, coordinator in the area of El Puente de Sanabria, who explained the local reality and the specific needs of the territory. <\/p>\n\n
